Will it work for your skin?

I’ve returned three “holy grail” sunscreens for pilling or white cast. This one sinks in like a light serum, leaves a soft glow (not greasy), and plays nice under makeup. Combination skin here — no breakouts after six weeks of daily use. The only catch: it’s a chemical filter, so give it a few minutes to set before going outside.

My dry skin drinks this up. Noticeably plumper within two weeks, and post-blemish marks fade faster. Docking one star purely for the stringy texture — it took me a solid week to stop being grossed out by the slip. If you can get past that, it layers beautifully under a heavier night cream.

Sensitive, easily-flushed skin here. This is the first toner in years that didn’t sting. Lightweight, no fragrance drama, and the redness around my nose genuinely settled down within about a week of morning-and-night use. I pat two layers in on damp skin. It won’t transform your skin, but as a calm, no-drama hydration step it’s earned a permanent spot.

Oily, breakout-prone skin. Used three nights a week, it genuinely helped with clogged pores and texture on my forehead. But the name is doing a lot of work — this is an active exfoliant, not a gentle “toner,” and using it nightly wrecked my barrier for a week. Three stars because the results are real but the marketing sets people up to overuse it. Start twice a week, max.

Normal-to-balanced skin. This is the definition of a no-fuss daily moisturiser — light, slightly dewy, sinks in fast with zero greasiness. Not rich enough on its own for deep winter, but layered over an essence it’s perfect three seasons a year. Unscented enough that my partner with sensitive skin steals it too.
